Last April 25th was a day of celebration for all Italians, however tarnished – if we want to say so – by a nefarious announcement from Telepass: from July 1st 2024 prices would increase to 3.90 euros per month. There has been a boom in cancellations, but that’s exactly what many users have got one year of free rent.
Even if there is nothing official, it seems that there is a sort of “trick” to obtain a free year of Telepass fee in case of change of mind. Several users who have contacted the company by telephone to communicate their intention to cancel, or who have filled out the appropriate online form, have obtained – by speaking directly with an operator – one year’s free fee. As mentioned above, there is nothing official and the offer may not be offered to all users, try – however – it doesn’t harmas the saying goes.
