The presentation of Lucy Ribichini’s book at Lido Cluana

Tomorrow, Wednesday 15 May, at 5.30 pm, in the southern building of the Cluana lido, the presentation of the book “Eyes in the mirror are closer than they appear” by Lucy Ribichini will take place. The writer from Civitanova will be present at the meeting organized by the Zavatti municipal library and the culture department.

The book talks about the difficult relationship between father and daughter: «a pain – writes the author – which embraces a hope on an unstable edge, a growing dialogue held between the four walls of a hospital room, the escape entrusted to only memories and new beginnings. Daughter and father chase each other, think of each other as distant, accuse, justify each other. On a sparse and essential stage, the two protagonists alternate their voices. From time to time the eye shines the light on characters and extras in this intimate family story. A story, the story of a family, the story of everyone.”

The author Lucy Ribichini was born in Civitanova in 1982 and works as a management assistant in a company in Montegranaro. In recent years she discovered writing.
