Alessandro Lamonaca from Barletta presents his latest book “Breviario dalla Luna”

Lines, words, thoughts, emotions, birth and death. In the beginning nothingness, then a point that creates space, thus revealing the ineffability of that nothingness which at the same time allows points, lines, words and shapes to exist. On Saturday 11 May, at 8.00 pm, Alessandro Lamonaca from Barletta will present his latest book “Breviary from the Moon”, at the Arci Carlo Cafiero, in via Paolo Ricci 153.

A collection of poems to express the mystery of life, the reason why everything is born and then dies.
Flock of seagulls echoes.
I discover that I am alone.
The rain falls.

Alessandro Lamonaca was born on 7 March 1988 in Barletta, a city where he still lives today with his wife, two daughters and a dog. He comes from a non-practicing Catholic environment, he grows up together with two brothers from whom he acquires experiences and contradictions. After his technical-commercial studies, from which he learned the analytical nuances, he approached a completely different field with the achievement of his degree. He has held the burden and honor of taking care of people through the nursing profession for about 13 years. Father, husband and brother, but first and foremost son, he is driven by a great curiosity for the various forms of expression and analysis of reality for the understanding of the intangible. “I prepare to be sound, to be energy, to be after life”.
