VALDITARA: “BOOK AN ESSENTIAL TOOL FOR TRAINING YOUNG PEOPLE”

“I believe that the book is an essential tool for the training of young people – said the Minister of Education and Merit,Giuseppe Valditara, speaking on the opening day – . I also supported it in Brussels, in the Council of Ministers of the European Union, finding, among other things, broad consensus and I see that many European countries are encouraging, if not actually forcing, the use of the book in primary schools. Because the book invites deep thought, invites a discussion with the author, encourages imagination, unlike the great ocean of the internet. Contact with the book stimulates four senses, because there is touch, there is sight, there is hearing when the pages are crumpled and folded, but there is also smell because books have a wonderful scent.”
