Three important events in sight for the literary festival “Ne vale worth it”, which between May and June will bring the Calabrian magistrate Annamaria Frustaci, Walter Veltroni and Filippo “Pippo” Inzaghi to the city.

The first appointment on Saturday 11 May (Auditorium Loria, 5pm) is with Frustaci, magistrate of Nicola Gratteri’s anti-mafia pool who will present her book “The girl who dreamed of defeating the mafia”.

On Tuesday 14th at 8.45pm, again in the library auditorium, it will be Walter Veltroni’s turn to present “La condemnation” (Rizzoli, 2024), a novel about a young journalist dealing with an article on Donato Carretta, director of the Regina Coeli prison savagely lynched by mob in September 1944.

Thursday 30 May, again at 8.45 pm but this time in the setting of the arena that will be built in the Parco delle Rimembranze as part of La CarpiEstate, the coach and former world champion Pippo Inzaghi will present “The right moment: football, the my life” (Cairo, 2023). All meetings are moderated by the journalist Pierluigi Senatore.
