Registrations by June 15, 2024 | Delivery of documents by June 30th
To promote the central role of the architectural project and guarantee quality and sustainability in the construction sector, EdicomEdizioni (publishing house specialized in the architecture and sustainability sector), in collaboration with Gruppo E (leading company in the distribution of architectural materials, flooring , coverings and bathroom furnishings) established the Architecture at the Center Awardthis year shining the spotlight on the province of Rome.
The theme is The innovative and sustainable architectural project: influences and contaminations in the urban and social context, chosen to highlight how the quality project can impact the transformation of life, society and the environmental context.
The projects will be divided into four categories: Residential • Hospitality • Tertiary • Interior Design.
Requirements and methods of participation
Participation is free and reserved for projects carried out in the last two years or in the process of being carried out (with final project approved) in the province of Rome.
Applications must be submitted by designers by June 15, 2024 by filling out the appropriate online registration form
It is possible to submit multiple projects in the different categories.
The descriptive and photographic documentation of the building that must be delivered by June 30, 2024together with a release for the use of the material by EdicomEdizioni.
After the first selection phase of the jury, the public will choose the winning projects.
Evaluation criteria
The jury will select the projects based on:
- quality of design: demonstrate high design quality, with creative, aesthetic and extremely functional solutions
- innovation: Present original approaches or creative solutions to architectural, functional, or design problems
- sustainability: use eco-friendly materials and pay attention to energy saving and reducing environmental impact
- integration: reduce the social impact, respect the natural environment and the architectural context, contribute to improving the quality of life, promoting local culture and identity
Awards and mentions
The selected projects will be submitted to the public’s vote via the Award website.
All users who visit the site will be able to express only one vote for each category of certified buildings from 15 July to 15 November 2024.
The buildings in each category that receive the highest number of public votes will be declared winners of the ARCHITECTURE Award at the ROMA center | 2024.
The Jury, regardless of the public vote, will be able to issue two particular mentions for each category for the buildings it deems particularly worthy.
The winning projects and the projects mentioned by the Jury will be published on the Award website and collected in a specific publication published by EdicomEdizioni.
