“Voices in the night″ . It is the title of the ‘artistic baptism’ of the young painter from Benevento Free Varricchio. A solo show that aims to arouse in the visitor new reflections on nightlife, in which space And time they merge, between waking life and dream, giving shape to paintings that “seem to be an investigation into the secret and intense life that the night reveals through plays of light/dark of great effect”, assures his master, Mario Ferrante. The inauguration of the exhibition Voices in the night will take place on Friday 10 May, at 6.30 pm, in the hallRoman aqueduct of the Rocca dei Rettori of Benevento and will be open to visitors every day until Sunday 19 May: morning 10:00-13:00, afternoon 17:00-20:00, Saturday and holidays late closing at 21:00. Presiding over the inaugural meeting with guests and journalists was the president of the Province of Benevento, Nino Lombarditogether with the Councilor for Culture of the Municipality of Benevento Antonella Tartaglia Polcini. An artist’s point of observation on nightlife is particularly rich in references and ideas for meditation on the way of perceiving and describing emotions and situations, which during the night hours seem to take on very particular depths and importance. Libero Varricchio – he states Mario Ferrante– has the gift of synthesis in the elaboration of his works. Despite being a young artist, he manages to use a chromatism full of risks, difficult to find even in painters of excellent skill. The drawing with which he constructs the single scene is created with a few strokes: those essential to evoke each object or situation. And this action demonstrates the depth of the artist, who we will hear more about.”
