When they say it wasn’t destiny… The images that come from La Coruna, in Spain, they are impressive. There is a laundromat where an ordinary customer, after finishing what he had to do, comes out. A handful of seconds pass and a dryer that was running explodes, blowing everything up. A matter of a few moments and it would have been a tragedy.
The customer comes out of the laundry and the dryer…explodes
The explosion occurred at a Sixth Avenue laundromat in Pocomaco, La Coruna. It was around 19.30 when at one point a very strong explosion was heard and many people called the emergency number 112 to ask for the intervention of the fire brigade. The footage from the internal cameras of the laundry accurately tells what happened.
According to what was reconstructed by the local press, a customer would have put his clothes in a dryer, but would have accidentally forgotten a clipper, a charger for lighters, inside a pocket, which overheated with the heat of the machine, triggering the explosion.
The Miracle Customer
The bang, as can be clearly seen from the video, took place a few seconds after a customer left the shop and was devastating, such as to gut the room and the facade. If only the explosion had happened seconds earlier it would probably have been a tragedy.
The firefighters verified that the structure of the room was visibly damaged e they decided to tear down the wall because it posed a security risk .
