Grand finale of 2025 at Sir Susa Scai Perugia! The Pian di Massiano facility will host the Italian Cup Quarter Final tomorrow evening, at 8.30pm, which the Block Devils will play against Cucine Lube Civitanova.
It is a stellar challenge, firstly because it will see two teams take to the field against each other once again who have been great protagonists of the Championship for years now, but also because of the importance of what is at stake tomorrow evening: it is an “inside-outside” match to gain a pass for the Final Four of the Italian Cup, scheduled for Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 February 2026 at the Unipol Arena in Bologna.
The challenge will be made even more exciting by the ambitions of two teams, both coming off a streak of positive results: the Marches have collected three successes in a row in the Regular Season thanks to the winning tie-break against Milan, the blitz with the maximum difference in Cuneo and the 3-1 home win against Piacenza. The Block Devils will instead return to embrace their fans exactly 20 days after their last home match, which was on 10 December, the first match of the Champions League group stage against Prague, and they will do so as World Champions, after having won the third world title in the club’s history in the long intercontinental trip to Brazil.
Having regained contact with the championship, with the boxing day match, won in Cisterna di Latina with ease and with the minimum expenditure of energy, now President Gino Sirci’s boys are ready to face, for the umpteenth time in a direct clash, the Marche team of Cucine Lube Civitanova. The two teams now know each other very well, as the Juventus book, Massimo Colaci, explained during the pre-match press conference: «We know very well the strengths and weaknesses of Civitanova and they know ours. What I think is that it will be a long match, these matches are hardly matches that last a short time. Civitanova is a team that has a very high level of batting, it is one of the teams that has the highest level in the entire championship and therefore a lot will go from there, from the batting-receiving challenge. In addition to this, there is much more, because in my opinion matches are won by winning long plays, which are those plays that are also difficult to train, those in which the player’s instinct comes out a little, and where the players can make the difference. They have, like us, many world champions. There will be suffering, but also fun because this is the beauty of our championship.”

Today was a special conference at Juventus because, in addition to presenting tomorrow’s big match, it was the setting for an event, the nomination of libero Massimo Colaci as Ambassador of Certified Quality Umbrian Oil.
The President of Assoprol Umbria, Marco Viola, presented the award in the presence of the President of Sir Susa Scai Perugia, Gino Sirci. It is a recognition that aims to establish a union in the name of excellence, between two symbolic realities of the Umbria region. On the one hand, a local excellence such as extra virgin olive oil, on the other a sporting excellence such as Sir. Assoprol is an association that brings together around 1200 operators in the Umbrian olive sector and has chosen President Sirci’s sporting association to strengthen the link between sport and oil. It reports to Confagricoltura and is its operational arm in the olive sector.

It enhances the flavors, it’s something incredible, and it has an important health boost, when we go abroad we miss it a lot.” With these words the Juventus owner described the green gold of Umbria.
