At the end of today’s matches, the Pala Panini hosted the awards ceremony, preceded by greetings from the institutions, applause for the referees and the children involved in the School-Work Alternation Project in collaboration with the Dante Alighieri and Cattaneo Deledda Institute of Modena.

An event of this magnitude is possible thanks to the synergy with Emilia-Romagna Region, Province of Modena and Municipal Administrations of the territories that hosted the competitions: Modena, Bastiglia, Carpi, Castelfranco Emilia, Castelnuovo Rangone, Castellarano, Fiorano Modenese, Formigine, Maranello, Nonantola, Rubiera, San Martino in Rio, Sassuolo, Soliera.

The Sports Councilor of the Municipality of Modena will do the honors Andrea Bortolamasisupported by the Regional Councillor Maria Costi and by the Councilor of the Municipality of Fiorano Modenese Luca Busani.

A big thank you goes to CONI and FIPAVhistorical partners of the event, in particular for the work of Tender Commission and Arbitration Commission: at the ceremony we welcomed the greetings of Vasco Lolli, President of the FIPAV Modena Territorial Committee.

Also among the partners present

A fundamental piece of the Winter Cup are the accommodation facilities that will host us during the three days, hotels and meal points: without their availability and professionalism the event would not be possible. In particular, a big thank you goes to all the hotels that host and allow them to welcome all the teams of the tournament. Special thanks to our partners Modena Hospitality, B&B Sassuolo, Hotel Rechigi and to new entry CX Hotel.

At the same time, we take this opportunity to thank the Partners who deal with the catering part and in particular CIR Food, FG Meal with Unico and Paolo&Friends and the Osteria del Tempo Perso.
Thanks also to the suppliers who enriched the race package: Cabrioni Biscotti, Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium and Decathlon Modena.

Thanks also went to AVIS and ad Andrea Bergaminidelegate for sport of the Modena section, today with us, and to the Modena Committee of the Red Cross, always alongside Anderlini with their fundamental logistical support.

We then want to underline the importance of media partner who accompanied us in this XVI edition of the Moma Winter Cup: Gazzetta di Modena, Speaking of Sports e Spot Modena. Thanks to their support, the Winter Cup will be able to reach an even wider audience, strengthening the link between volleyball, territory and communication. Added to these are Resto del Carlino and TRC Modena, always at our side.

Without them there couldn’t have been a match, so a huge thank you also goes to those beyond 80 referees who took to the field in the three days of the competition and who reached all of Modena from all of Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Veneto: on their behalf, Davide Fallica and Alessandro Falavigna.

Special guest, to present the prizes to the teams, Nicholas Sighinolfi, Riccardo Alberghini, Davide Signorini and Andrea Sanguanini of Volley Tricolore.

Space for some too Special Prizes: recognition offered by Dispensa Emilia to the largest representative, namely Visette Volley, present in this edition with 8 teams. An award also went to the U19 TSV Jona team, reported by our field managers for the education, cleanliness and decorum they had throughout the tournament on the field and in the changing rooms.

Another very special award was also presented by Panathlon, the green Fair Play card, represented by the President Maria Carafoli and by the Councillor Ennio Gallo. This year the prize is doubled, to remember our friends Marco Grandi and Leo Novi: they have arrived over 30 reports of fair playethical gestures and behaviors that give value to sport and take us humanly to the top as people. The prizes were awarded to Alberta Garpone, manager of Cogovalle Genova, and Pier Domenico Ravera, manager of Monvi Bam, who replaced two scorekeepers during the work, also solving technical problems with the scoreboard by announcing the score verbally. Volunteers are the soul of events such as the Winter Cup and, this year, we wanted to give symbolic recognition to a work that is often hidden but of fundamental importance
