In a recent interview given to Corriere, the former competitor of Big Brother VIP he revealed that he is experiencing a very happy moment, between his passion for golf and his newfound love. In this regard, the athlete told how his new love story was born:
In a very simple and, precisely for this reason, special way. No social media or messages. A totally random encounter at a party. We started talking. We even forgot to introduce ourselves. After almost an hour I told her: anyway, I’m Manuel. And she: yeah, and I’m Serena. All very natural, as if we had known each other for a long time. I am happy. I want to enjoy this moment and continue to look for my best version.

To conclude, Bortuzzo he then revealed what struck him most about his relationship with Serena, he admitted that distance is not a problem and explained that he doesn’t want to hide, but neither does he want to expose himself too much on social media:
I was struck by how we fit together. We like to laugh and joke. We don’t care where we are or what we do: what matters is being together. Every time we see each other it’s a bit like the first day. We have an enthusiasm that I will make sure never ends. Even if we are far away. Serena attends Federico II University in Scampia. I have my sporting and work commitments, but we always manage to carve out our time. We found a very nice balance. We don’t hide, but we don’t expose too much either. Most things remain ours. When we share something it’s because we feel like it, not for anything else. And many people have perceived the purity of this relationship. It’s nice.
