It is December 31, 2025, the last day of the year, but also on such a special evening, which sees many gathered at the table with their dearest loved ones to celebrate the arrival of the new year, “La Ruota della Fortuna” has chosen to be on air and keep company with those who choose to tune in to Canale 5, as it has done on many other evenings.

Gerry Scotti is welcomed as always by the band, who has a grand presentation for him: “From port to port we have arrived on the threshold of the new year, we celebrate with our captain: Gerry Scotti“, are the words of the singer of Fortuna Five, Marco, who then gives space with his adventure companions to a gritty song like “La Bamba”.

Afterwards I have an evening in a watermelon, during the winter they have a dancing evening.”

The Wheel of Fortune, episode 31 December 2025: what happened

Defending the title is Jimmy, now known for belonging to the “Ugly Club”, who won 76,100 euros in five episodes. Challenging him are Nicola di Carrè (Vicenza), where he is employed in the logistics and transport sector, and Annamaria from Gravina in Puglia, a psychologist by profession, who deals in particular with autism and developmental age.

We start with “The Wheel in Time”, dedicated to what is done on December 31st in Italy, where there is an active habit in various areas of leaving the windows open, which is guessed by Nicola, who wins his first 1,000 euros. “It is thought that in this way the bad things of a year come out to let the good things in – he says Gerry -, but be careful because this is how thieves get in too.” It’s then Nicola who wins the heat dedicated to music, thus proving himself to be a very respectable opponent, at least in these initial stages.

The challenge continues with a domination of the challenger, who manages to jump to 9 thousand euros, leaving his opponents, including the champion, at zero, even if we know well that at “La Ruota della Fortuna” everything could change at the last minute. This time, however, unlike the last few evenings, there is no turnaround, it is Nicola who becomes champion with 14,300 euros, JImmy experienced an episode in which he appeared rather subdued.

Thus we move on to “The Wheel of Wonders”, which this time has New Year’s Eve as its theme. We start with one of the typical traditions, kissing under the mistletoe (not guessed by the new champion), Samira underlines how this simple action is still used, it is no coincidence that her mother always gives it to her, but at this point Scotti teases her: “Can you find someone who kisses you?”, she obviously replies that her boyfriend, Luigi, is thinking of this. The young man guesses only the third sentence right at the end, so as to be guaranteed of having a green envelope.

The presenter starts by showing the contents of the red envelopes, in these there are 5 and 15 thousand euros. And in the end it really goes great: the new champion wins 200 thousand euros!
