NAPLES – A serious accident risked turning into a tragedy via Partenope in Naples. The lower part of a second-floor balcony collapsed, causing the numerous stones fell on the tables of the Stella pizzeria restaurant.
The collapse occurred in the evening of Saturday 29th June around 11.00 pm. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
According to what has been learned, the fall of the heavy rocks destroyed a curtain in the room which partially cushioned the blows. The following intervened on site: Fire fighters and the Municipal police.

“We are still in shock. The only thing I can tell you is that I am glad that no one was hurt. It really could have ended in tragedy.“, he has declared Stella Cappabiancaowner of the Neapolitan restaurant.
In light of what happened last Saturday, the restaurant remained closed the following day for inspections by technicians.
Attention is now focused on the safety of all the premises of the Lungomare di Napoli in order to prevent further damage.
