Accident on the A4 in Palazzolo, motorway closed between Seriate and Rovato

On the A4 Milan-Brescia, the section between Seriate and Rovato in the direction of Brescia has been closed due to an accident in which a lorry and a van were involved which overturned on the road. Two injured, rescued under yellow code.

It happened on Monday 24 June around 12.20pm. Inside the closed section, traffic has been unblocked, people move into the overtaking lane and there is a queue of 5 kilometres. For those traveling in the direction of Brescia after the obligatory exit at Seriate, where there is a 2 kilometer queue, the Autostrade company recommends returning from the Castegnato station after traveling along ordinary roads.

For long journeys from Milan to Brescia it is advisable to take the A58 Tangenziale Estterna di Milano, the BreBeMi and return to the A4 from Castegnato station. On the stretch of A4 between Rovato and Palazzolo in the direction of Milan there are queues for onlookers. Autostrade per l’Italia staff, the Traffic Police and all emergency vehicles are present at the site of the event.
