The French singer Françoise Hardy, an icon of the Sixties, passed away at the age of 80. The news was reported by Bfmtv, which recalled her numerous successes such as “Tous les garçons et les filles”, “Le temps de l’amour” and “Message Personnel”. Hardy announced in June 2019 on RTL that she was suffering from new cancer and in March she declared that she would never be able to sing again. The death of Françoise Hardy, a figure of French song with an international aura, was announced in the evening on social networks by her son Thomas Dutronc. In the ranking of the 200 best singers of all time drawn up by the American magazine Rolling Stone in 2023, Hardy was the only representative of France.
