Third Michelin star for Hiša Franko and chef Ana Roš. Joy and satisfaction. A record because Roš thus enters the elite among the very few women to have obtained the maximum stars assigned by the “Red”. And the ambition to always do better, looking without filters at food quality and sustainability. “A recognition of our creativity, innovation and dedication to culinary creation. This confirms that we have chosen the right path.” Thus the team of the restaurant which is located just 5 minutes from Italy announces the new milestone. And so today Hiša Franko is the only restaurant in Slovenia to boast three Michelin stars.
A recognition that came only three years later that the prestigious “red guide” arrived in Slovenia and awarded Hiša Franko two stars. “This year ranked us among the crème de la crème of world gastronomy, and our chef Ana Roš was included in the group of very few female chefs in the world who managed to win this prestigious title for their restaurant,” they say from Hiša Franko.

Ana Roš is no stranger to international awards and is loved all over the world for her creative skills. In 2017 you received the title of “Best Chef” in the list of the 50 best restaurants in the world (The World’s 50best), making your way onto the international scene. This year Hiša Franko reached 32nd place in the “The World’s 50 Best Awards” selection, confirming the absolute quality of his creations in the world of gastronomy. Chef Ana Roš’s innovative ability and her personality were also rewarded with the prestigious “Sferic”, recognition that recognizes her as a true pioneer in the culinary world.
