Benevento. The drama in November 2021 along the 372
One year 4 months. This is the sentence, negotiated and suspended, established by judge Roberto Nuzzo, for Saverio L., 79 years old, from Ponte.
Defended by the lawyer Cecilia Del Grosso, the pensioner had been called into question by the investigations into the death of GZ, 54 years old, from San Giorgio del Sannio, which occurred on 2 November 2021 in the Olivola district, along state road 372. That day the unfortunate he had rushed to the aid of a friend who had broken down in his Peugeot van, with a Dacia, which he had stopped in front of the vehicle.
According to an initial reconstruction, once he got out, he would have been hit by the car, on which the van would have ended up, rear-ended by the Opel, which had arrived in the meantime, driven by the then 77-year-old. Nothing to be done for the 54-year-old, the driver of the Opel and two other people who were traveling with him are also in hospital.
On behalf of the prosecutor Marilia Capitanio, the body was subjected to an autopsy by the medical examiner Lamberto Pianese. Doctor Teresa Suero, consultant to the victim’s family members, also took part in the examination, together with the lawyer Pietro Romano.
