The iconic Monza National Autodrome it was the scene of an intense stage of the 2023 Italian Sports Prototype Championship, which gave the public two exciting races full of twists and turns. In race 1, it was Alister Yoong of Luxury Car Racing who took the victory: despite coming second at the finish line, the Malaysian driver then inherited first place following the 10-second penalty imposed by the stewards on Matteo Roccadelli of BHK Motorsport, forced to settle for third place. Second place went to Davide Uboldi of Uboldi Corse, who shone in the first half of the race thanks to a lightning-fast start. At the foot of the podium was instead Emil Hellberg, who unfortunately lost the chance to gain a place in the top-3 due to a contact with Uboldi on the last lap; Giovanni Mazza of Emotion Motorsport took fifth place, while Linus Hellberg of Bad Wolves finished in sixth place. Jesse Menczer of Bad Wolves was unlucky, forced to retire on the first lap due to a contact in the first corner, while Pietro Ferri of Emotion Motorsport and Sonia Roussel of Bad Wolves had to retire early due to an accident at Parabolica.

Race 2 was instead won by Davide Uboldi: starting from sixth position, the driver from Como took the lead already at the end of the first lap and subsequently extended his pace, distancing his pursuers in the central phase of the race. The multiple Italian champion was then forced to defend himself from the return of Jesse Menczer, managing to beat the British driver by just 198 thousandths at the finish line; third place went to Linus Hellberg, who despite a 10-second penalty for causing Alister Yoong to retire on the fifth lap, managed to get on the podium. In fourth position was Giovanni Mazza of Emotion Motorsport, while Donald Milokanovic of Bad Wolves finished in fifth place; noteworthy are the retirements of both Matteo Roccadelli and Emil Hellberg, both involved in a contact at the Variante Ascari during the first lap, as well as the absence of Sonia Roussel after the accident in race 1.

In the general ranking, Roccadelli maintains the lead with 101 points, followed by Emil Hellberg with a gap of 14 points; Davide Uboldi gains ground and is now in third place with 78 points. Roccadelli also leads the Under 25 ranking, while Giovanni Mazza and Donald Milokanovic take off in the Master and Rookie rankings respectively. After the weekend in Brianza, the Italian Sports Prototype Championship will return to action in two weeks, with the Mugello International Circuit hosting the fifth round of the season on 1 October.
