CLA Shooting Brake is equipped withlatest generation of the MBUX multimedia information and entertainment system, with newly developed display: the “Classic” style provides all relevant information for the driver, “Sporty” is distinguished by the dynamic rev counter, while the “Discreet” display is limited to the most essential elements. In addition to the three modes (Navigation, Assistance, Service) and the seven color worlds, the instrument cluster and central display can be customized according to the driver’s preferences and the driving situation.
The central display offers all previous functions, such as navigation, media, telephone, vehicle, etc. and can be operated comfortably via touchscreen. The telematic system highlights the new design and expanded performance. A new feature is connectivity with smartphones via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto Wireless. Both models also feature an additional USB-C port and increased USB charging capability. All USB ports are now illuminated.
The steering wheel of the current generation is covered as standard in Nappa leather. New trim elements in dark carbon look, brown open-pore lime wood or brown Microcut microfibre (only for AMG Line trim) further enhance the interior. For the first time with the AMG Line, heated steering wheel rims are also available. On demandare available two 10.25-inch displays with widescreen looks that offer a holistic high-tech experience and create an exceptionally large spatial architecture. Standard also comfort seats equipped with a combination of Arctic and three-dimensional embossed fabric in black. Upon request, they are also available in sage grey. The Progressive trim level offers three interior colors: black, speckled beige and sage gray. With the AMG Line, the standard seat upholstery in Arctic/Microcut microfibre is now also available in bahia brown. A total of five trim colors are available for the AMG Line: black, bahia brown, sage gray, titanium gray pearlescent/black and, for the first time, pepper red/black.
The fabric cover of the comfort seat is made from 100% recycled materials. In the Arctic/Microcut seat, this percentage is 65% in the middle of the seat and 85% in the bottom fabric. The use of recycled materials is an important step on the way to CO2 neutrality.
