The last farewell to the victims of the flood will begin to take shape today at the mortuary with the blessing of Vittorio Tozzi’s body by the Romiti parish priest, Don Loriano Valzania. Then there will be burial in the monumental cemetery.
Tomorrow at 10.30 in the parish of the Pianta the funeral of Franco Prati and Adriana Mazzoli will be held by Don Loriano Valzania, together with the parish priest Don Felice Brognoli; then the bodies will be buried in the adjacent cemetery as they wish.
The bishop is constantly informed from Rome about the work of the CEI Assembly, where he also met Pope Francis for a greeting, and could return in time to participate in the funeral. Monsignor Corazza will celebrate Mass on Sunday at 9.30 in the parish of San Benedetto, where last Sunday it was not possible to celebrate due to work to clear out and clean up the damage, in one of the areas most affected by the flood, near which there is also the Seminary of via Lunga, the Emporium of Solidarity and the Committee for the fight against hunger in the world. Also on Sunday at 11 in the Romiti church there will be a mass celebrated by the parish priest don Valzania and transmitted, as already foreseen by previous programs but now even more current, by the Teleromagna broadcaster.
