Christoph Schweiger is the 21-year-old who died after being hit by a car in Arco. The family decides to donate the organs

ARC. The 21-year-old didn’t make it Christoph Schweiger vhe last April 8 had been overwhelmed by a car while he was in Arco. The young man is deceased while he was hospitalized in the Santa Chiara hospital in Trento.

Too serious the injuries sustained in the accident which saw him involved with his girlfriend: in fact, the two young men were hit by a car driven by a 31-year-old local who later tested positive for the alcohol test. The accident occurred at the height of the bridge that crosses the Sarca river.

Schweiger was a climbing champion German and was staying in a campsite in Prabi di Arco with his girlfriend and his family. His fiancée, on the other hand, had been hospitalized in Arco with less serious injuries.

The young man’s death has greatly affected the entire community in the meantime the family has given the green light to donate the organs. Investigations are underway on the accident to clarify exactly the dynamics and reconstruct that terrible moment.
