Residents’ voice: urgent need for greater cleanliness in city parks – Arezzo News

Dear fellow citizens,

We are a group of residents who would like to bring to your attention the worrying situation of cleanliness in city parks.
Despite the presence of a bin collection and emptying service every morning, throughout the day, including at night, we find ourselves faced with indescribable piles of dirt the next morning.

This problem is not only attributable to the capacity of the bins, which in our opinion are too small, but also, and above all, to the incivility of some of the frequenters.
It is common to see clean bins, but surrounded by waste scattered everywhere.

We understand that finding effective solutions is not easy, but we believe that more frequent rounds of the Municipal Police with the issuance of fines or the implementation of other measures could represent a significant deterrent to uncivil behavior.

The images we attach show waste on the ground a few steps from the bins and the result of a single day’s collection at Parco Ducci.
These photos are emblematic of the problem that afflicts us and that we would like to see resolved.

We invite the municipal administration to take our observations into consideration and to evaluate interventions that can improve the situation, guaranteeing cleaner and more liveable parks for all.

Thanks for the attention.

A group of concerned residents
