MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Egyptair, the national airline of Egypt, inaugurates on October 6, 2024 the first direct route Milan Malpensa-Luxor, operated every Sunday, departing at 17:50 and arriving at 23:05 local time in Luxor. The company, which for 60 years with its flights has brought Egypt closer to Italy, confirms with this new opening its desire to support tourism between the two countries, which has been showing a continuously growing trend for several years. According to data from the Ministry of Tourism, in 2023 Egypt recorded 14.9 million visitors, with a growth of 27% compared to 2022 and far higher than the historical record of 13.1 million arrivals recorded in 2019.
