(AGENPARL) – Tue 02 July 2024 Firefighters. Pogliese (FdI): Good approval of amendment for hiring voluntary staff
“I warmly welcome the approval, today in the Agriculture Committee, of the amendment to the Agriculture decree, of which I am the first signatory, which provides for the extension to ordinary hiring of the 30% reserve quota of turnover hiring reserved for those eligible in the ranking of the special recruitment procedure, relating to the volunteer personnel of the National Fire Brigade Corps. As regards the remaining 70% of turnover hiring, however, the selection continues to take place by scrolling through the ranking of the public competition in the qualification of firefighter. In this way, it will be possible to have a wider range of personnel who will serve to fill the gaps due to retirements. The use of this procedure will also provide an answer to the many volunteers who over time have served alongside the permanent staff of the National Corps. I thank the Government for its commitment and for the sensitivity shown towards those who have worn the uniform of the firefighters over time”.
Senator Salvo Pogliese, group leader of Fratelli d’Italia in the Agriculture Commission, declared this in a note.
