As in 2023, the apricots, the “gold” of Valleggia, are being stolen again and the social garden “Tutti giù per terra” raises the alarm.

The social inclusion project in the field of social agriculture aimed at people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or other fragilities is located in the San Pietro in Carpignano Park on land granted by the municipality of Quiliano.

Among the activities there is also the one related to fruit picking. The kids carry out agricultural activities guided by professionals specialized in therapeutic horticulture and in the use of cognitive-behavioral techniques.

“We are sorry that like every year someone ‘misunderstands’ our project: the social garden is a welcoming place where we try to offer a service to support people with disabilities, it is not a place to go in to help yourself and steal the products that our kids and our team take care of with great commitment throughout the year – they explain from “Tutti giù per terra” – The valleggine are literally sold out and this year it happened just like that. We are sorry to announce that our garden has run out, we hope at least that they are in the hands of someone who really needs them”.

“We will overcome this disappointment, tomorrow (today.ndr) we will return to the garden with a smile but we ask you to help us to make the spirit of this project known so that in the future we and the boys can reap the fruits of the work we do, without these sad surprises. Thanks to those who support us, and as always” they conclude.
