Spinazzola: new meeting today
Napoli have identified Leonardo Spinazzola as a target for the left flank.
The full-backs are always very important for Antonio Conte’s game.
The former Juventus, Atalanta and Roma player has been released by the Roman club and is therefore free on a free transfer.
Conte likes the player a lot and has known him since his time as coach with the national team.
Spinazzola is 31 years old and expressed his enthusiasm for the project to rebuild the former Italian Champion team.
According to the market expert Sky Gianluca Di Marzio, in the next few hours there will be a new meeting between the parties that will be decisive for the negotiation.
Today could already be a decisive day for the new talks that will take place, the Giallorossi winger would land in blue by tying himself with a two-year contract until 2026, the details still need to be discussed.
His agent Davide Lippi is negotiating with Napoli to reach an agreement on his salary.
Spinazzola’s entourage is asking for a two-year contract, the Azzurri would like to get a year out of the contract with an option for a second at a slightly reduced rate. The negotiation is very well underway.
