OSTRA – Mourning in the town for the death in Sardinia of Maggiorino Party who had been on holiday in his homeland for a few days. The man, 44 years old, was travelling in his car, a Nissan Xtrail, which went off the road along provincial road 10, for Putzu Idu, in the territory of San Vero Milis.
A serious accident that no one seems to have noticed immediately because the car was half hidden by vegetation: it had in fact ended up in a ditch behind a hedge, as reported by local media.
Of the accident, after the intervention of fire fighters e health workers alerted by some passers-by, they are taking care of the carabinieri of the place to reconstruct what happened: it seems that he did everything by himself. It is not yet clear whether he was taken ill or if it was a technical failure.
Maggiorino Festa was born 44 years ago in Cagliari but had been living in the province of Ancona for some time. First in Ostra, then in the last period in Senigallia, in an apartment in the fraction of Roncitelli after separating from his partner. He was known as guitar player in various formations but recently worked as an electrician for a company in Jesi after having done various jobs.
“Ciao Maggio. Rest in Peace” wrote some friends on social media, including some work colleagues. “A kind boy is gone” commented another friend at the news of the tragic death. The funeral of the 44-year-old has not yet been scheduled: the body is still at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
