With the arrival of July, the new Telepass rates: technically a remodulation of the packages, four in total, but in reality also a price increase. Fortunately, the promotions that allow you to obtain fee reset for one year and a percentage of cashback on tolls.
Zero-fee Telepass and cashback: the promos
The reorganization of the Telepass packages includes, in addition to the increase in tariffs, also a merger of some services that were previously offered separately. They are four packages: one pay-per-use, the other three by subscription, one of which is not yet available.
The first is Telepass Pay per Use which, as the name suggests, is the only one based on consumption. Activation costs 10 euros, plus 1 euro per day of use of the electronic toll collection and 1 euro per day of use of the services, which are five: Area C Milan, ferry to the Strait of Messina, affiliated parking lots, blue stripes, electronic motorway vignettes.
Then there is the package Telepass Base at 3.90 euros per monthwith activation included. It offers electronic toll collection and the five additional services already mentioned. Until July 15, those who subscribe to the subscription will receive one year of zeroed out feewhile entering the code into the app BASE2406 (by July 30) will receive the 20% cashback on tollsfor a maximum of 25 euros, until September 30th.
Telepass Plus It is the package designed for those who travel frequently: 4.90 euros per month (but until July 15th Telepass offers zero fee for one year) and over 25 additional services. Among these, in addition to the five already mentioned, we also point out: the possibility of adding a second license plate, discounted flight, train and long-distance bus tickets, paying for electric car charging and ski passes. There is also an active promotion: by entering the code PLUS2406 by July 30th, receive 20% cashback on tolls until September 30th.
The fourth and final package is not yet available in Italy and will presumably arrive by the end of the year: it is Telepass Youngwill include ten services but not the electronic toll collection. Further information is not available at the moment. Returning to the subject of promotions, however, it is possible request the European Telepassdesigned for those who travel outside national borders, no activation costs by opting for the Basic or Plus offer.
