Further details are emerging on the dramatic accident that occurred on the evening of Wednesday 26 June in via Cavour in Turate in which unfortunately a young motorcyclist lost his life, Richard Legnani23 years old from Rescaldina.
Fatal accident in Turate, a motorist from Cogliate is also involved
At first, the police thought that the motorcyclist had done it all by himself. However, the investigations that followed revealed the dynamics of the accident to be different. In fact, by viewing the images from a camera located near the scene of the accident, we see how the motorcyclist begins to overtake a van, which he completes by returning to his lane. At the same time, however, in the opposite direction of travel, a car with a woman from Cogliate, born in 1979, begins to overtake another car that was traveling in front, not completing the maneuver and hitting the motorcycle in the other lane, causing the motorcyclist to lose his balance and fall and lose his life.
The surveys carried out on the car by the Carabinieri of the Cantù Company would confirm this hypothesis, given that the car shows signs of the impact with the motorcycle. The woman would consequently be charged with the crime of Road Homicide.
