SAN DONACI – A 58-year-old man, Mino Patisso of San Donaci, lost his life in a road accident that occurred this evening along the provincial road San Donaci-Campi Salentina, in the Brindisi area.
The dynamics of the accident
According to initial reconstructions, the man was riding a T-Max 500 motorcycle when, for reasons yet to be ascertained, he lost control of the vehicle and ended up off the road. The accident occurred in the countryside, a few meters from the town center. Local police officers intervened on the scene to carry out the necessary surveys and establish the exact dynamics of the accident.
No other vehicles involved
No other vehicles were involved in the accident. Local police confirmed that this was a single-vehicle accident. The cause of the road departure is still under investigation.
A day of tragedies on the roads of Puglia
Unfortunately, this accident is the fourth road tragedy in Puglia in the last 24 hours. In addition to the victim from San Donaci, three other people lost their lives in separate accidents: one between Fragagnano and Monteparano in Taranto, one in Erchie and one on the road connecting Otranto to Martano.
