An airplane of theAir Europa was hit by turbulence which caused at least 30 injured in the early hours of this morning. According to information from the G1 portal, the flight, which traveled from Spain to Uruguay with 325 passengers, made an emergency landing at Natal airport, Brazil.

Flight Ux 45 had left Madrid at 11.55pm (local time) on 30 June and was headed to Montevideothe capital of Uruguay, but landed on Brazilian soil in the early hours of this morning.
In a statement, Air Europa’s press office confirmed that of the 325 passengers on board, seven were treated for more serious injuries and the others suffered minor injuries. The injured hit their heads or suffered spinal injuries due to the movements of the plane. They were taken to Monsenhor Walfredo Gurgel Hospital, Natal. Their health status has not yet been disclosed.
