PARABIAGO (Milan)
Condolences in Parabiago, the city of residence of Mattia Dattis, 20 years old, who tragically passed away on Saturday evening in a car accident in Nerviano. The collision occurred at the intersection of Viale Kennedy and Via Ticino. For reasons yet to be clarified, the young man’s motorbike hit the right side of a BMW, ending its run on a pavement, a few meters from the wall of an apartment building. Despite the timely intervention of the rescuers, there was nothing that could be done: Mattia was taken to the hospital in Legnano and died shortly afterwards. Mattia was an animator of the Santo Stefano oratory and a member of the “Pischifralli” theater company. Having graduated last year from the Cavalleri high school in Parabiago, he enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan. The country’s Facebook groups are full of emotional and incredulous greetings for Mattia. “An immense pain, a void that no one would have ever wanted. A boy full of energy, always available, present in every initiative of the oratory. May the Lord welcome you and give support to your parents and family”, writes a man. “It won’t be easy to enter the oratory and no longer hear your cheerful “hello”” adds another. Christian Sormani
