A regional helicopter, a Canadair CL-415 and an Erickson S-64 of the Fire Brigade. It was also necessary for the Vigoli Urbani to close the road that connects the historic center to the locations of the fire. The Forestry Carabinieri and teams of volunteers were also on site. At the same time as the Castrovilalri fire, S. Basile was also hit by flames. Burning an olive grove near the Basilian Monastery. The Calabria Verde firefighting teams intervened in this case too.
