Rihanna replaces Charlize Theron as J’Adore’s muse

One of Dior’s most popular perfumes, since its launch on the market in 1999, J’Adore has conquered millions of women with its luminous and sensual composition capable of combining the most beautiful outsides from the four corners of the world: ylang-ylang, with its flowery and fruity notes; the Damask rose of Türkiye; the jasmine grandiflorum of Grasse; and sambac jasmine from India, with a fruity and voluptuous sensuality.

Played for 20 years by the actress Charlize Theron, today the iconic fragrance of the French maison has a new face. Today was the announcement that J’Adore has a new muse: Rihanna. The star was welcomed into the Dior family Véronique Courtois — CEO Parfums Christian Dior — who said: «We are incredibly proud to welcome Rihanna in the Dior family. The golden dream of him promises to be unique, reflecting a fragrance that is present for women, and maintains its radiance ».

“The uncommon talent, audacity and captivating beauty of this absolute star are the ideal embodiment of the dazzling and powerful Dior femininity that transcends generations,” he continued. «Christian Dior he would definitely have loved it.”

On the same note, Rihanna shares her emotion for the new role which she defines as «an honor and a mission», underlining the emotional bond that has long united her with J’Adore. “This perfume, which I have known and loved for a long time, means a lot to women,” she confessed in an official note. «I am particularly looking forward to joining this adventure and contributing to it through my world, my history, my roots, as well as my creativity and my femininity».
