AJ Francis he made his TNA debut on January 13 during the company’s rebirth through the PLE Hard To Kill. In the event in question his personal feud with the wrestler and singer-songwriter Joe Hendry was born which is still being carried out today after having, among other things, formed his own stable, First Class together with Rich Swann.

Francis and Swann seem unstoppable together also because, thanks to their misconduct, they have so far won all the battles available to them against the Scottish Hendry and have now grabbed a further piece of the puzzle in their journey.

A new champion

According to what happened in the recent TV tapings recorded last weekend in Kentuky, Francis defeated Laredo Kid to officially become the new TNA Digital Media Champion. Laredo had managed to wrest the title from Crazzy Steve during the Countdown to Rebellion, a feat that lasted almost a month considering the previous fight ended by disqualification and a feud that culminated with the end of a reign that was not as exciting as previous expectations.
Laredo promised to put on a show with his talent and desire to defend his belt everywhere, but apparently AJ’s dirty deeds have brought this dream of the South American athlete to an end.

Now Francis wins a belt for the first time in his career and does it inside the Total NonStop Action Wrestlingone of the federations in which he appears on a permanent basis, such as Billy Corgan’s National Wrestling Alliance or Game Changer Wrestling.

We will see if the feud with Hendry will be resumed and if perhaps it will see at the center of it that Digital Media Title already held by the former ROH and Insane Championship Wrestling Scot and now ready for a second reign after having enjoyed an important personal revenge. Meanwhile Hendry and his song continue to climb the British charts “I Believe in Joe Hendry” which is also his theme song in TNA.
