Andrea Di Lenardo of AVS

Andrea Di Lenardo, AVS – Possibile group leader in the city council of Udine, was elected to the Organizational Committee of the new national secretariat of Possibile of Secretary Francesca Druetti. Di Lenardo, a PhD student in Ancient Sciences, had run in support of the “Without borders” motion in support of Druetti. “We take this opportunity, we read in a note from Possibile, to thank the now former Secretary the Hon. for all the work carried out. Beatrice Brignone and the previous Secretary and founder of the party by the Hon. Giuseppe Civati, for their great contribution and for all the daily political and cultural work carried out so far. The name of the motion “Without borders” comes from our daily commitment against all the walls, physical and mental, which continue to be raised, especially in this period in which it is more important than ever to loudly ask for the silence of the weapons, held in name of abstract borders and economic interests, from Palestine to Ukraine, from African countries to Yemen. The motion outlines our positions and our ongoing battles for the protection of the environment, climate justice, workers’ rights (especially those without contracts), patrimonial rights for the super-rich, the valorisation of cultural work, a university free from collaboration with the war industry and warmongering regimes, the salaries of doctoral students, researchers and teachers, a student-friendly school, the fight against war-mongering policies, a Europe that returns to the dream of Ventotene, anti-fascism (unfortunately very current), public health, transfeminism at the time of the war on abortion, the right to live, the legalization of legal drugs, LGBTQIA+ rights, the end of life, the widespread reception of migrant people and the protection of Constitution”.
