The Cremona Fire Brigade Command he recently coordinated a crucial training initiative for the Commands of the Regions of Emilia Romagna and Piedmont. There urgent training needespecially for those equipped with amphibious vehicles, was addressed with the organization of two nautical license courses “extended to the operation of amphibious vehicles”.

The courses, held at the headquarters of the Cremona Command from 19 to 29 March, saw the active participation of the Fire Brigade Commands of Bologna, Ferrara, Piacenza, Forlì Cesena, Alessandria, Novara, as well as the staff of the Lombardy Commands, such as Milan, Brescia and Pavia. Overall, 31 operators were involved and trained.

The courses were led by expert trainers from the IAE Davide Regonatithe CR Salvatore Belluardo of the Cremona Command and the IAE Michele Bebbu of the Pavia Command.

The main objective of this initiative was to provide operators with essential skills to effectively manage amphibious vehicles in emergency situations. The shortage of qualified instructors nationwide has made this interregional collaboration not only essential, but also a model of adaptability and cooperation.

The collaboration between the various Fire Brigade Commands demonstrates the importance of synergy and sharing of resources to address emerging challenges in the public safety sector.
