Fire brigade, training courses for drivers of amphibious vehicles

CREMONA – The command of the Cremona fire brigade he recently coordinated a crucial training initiative for the fire brigade commands of the Emilia Romagna and Piedmont regions. The need for urgent training, especially for those equipped with amphibious vehicles, was addressed with the organization of two nautical license courses «extended to the operation of amphibious vehicles».

The courses, held at the headquarters of the VVF command in Cremona from 19 to 29 March, saw the active participation of the commands of Bologna, Ferrara, Piacenza, Forlì Cesena, Alessandria, Novara,
as well as the staff of the Lombardy commands, such as Milan, Brescia and Pavia. Overall, 31 operators were involved and trained.
The courses were led by expert trainers from the IAE David Reign yourselfthe CR Salvatore Belluardo of the Cremona command and the IAE Michele Bebbu of the Pavia command.

The main objective of this initiative was to provide operators with essential skills to effectively manage amphibious vehicles in emergency situations.
