FANO – Thanks to an excellent performance obtained during the Regional Winter Swimming Championships which were held in Fano, on Sunday 24 March, Felipe Coccia from Uispiceno, born in 2009, qualifies for the National Youth Swimming Championships which will be held in Riccione from the 5th to the 10th April.

The athlete in the 200m medley specialty, with a time of 2’14.64, obtained the regional gold medal and was entitled to participate in the Italian championship. This extraordinary result represents an important milestone for Uispiceno, a company recently affiliated with the FIN which has 8 registered athletes in the various categories.

Thanks go to coach Erika Coccia and technical director Walter Coccia who are carrying out a high-level technical-sports project. This result is the result of teamwork, where every single athlete gives their contribution every day.

Felipe is proof that extraordinary goals can be achieved with sacrifice, resilience and determination. A special thank you goes to the parents for the support they are giving.
