Guastalla Guastalla and the hamlet of Pieve are hurt by the disappearance, alone 44 years oldOf Michele Artoni.
The man died on Saturday and the news has thrown the entire Guastalla community into despair.
Artoni, who was a mechanical engineer, had worked for a long time at Smeg, also in the historic headquarters in via Circonvallazione, while most recently he was at Bonferraro, a household appliance company which is part of the Guastallese group and is located in the hamlet of the same name in Sorgà di Verona .
Artoni had recently gone to work at Zanotti in Suzzara, which deals with refrigeration systems.
The 44 years old he had been an educator and catechist in the parish of Pieve, where he was a familiar figure.
He had also committed himself to music school and was part of the band: he was the first clarinet player and then he began to play trumpet and trombone.
A friendly, calm and kind person, she was appreciated for her availability and generosity towards others.
His father Lino, a well-known accountant from Pieve, passed away at the age of 70 in October 2020.
The Artoni family is very large and inserted in the Guastalla and Pieve communities and therefore the news of the sudden disappearance was a real shock for many people.
Michele leaves behind his wife Chiara Lanzoni, architect, employee of the technical office of the Municipality of Luzzara and councilor for urban planning in Guastalla, with whom he lived in the hamlet of San Giorgio.
The couple has two children aged 12 and 16.
The engineer also leaves behind his mother Pierina and sister Alessandra.
Many messages of condolence and support are arriving at the family members at this time.
The funeral should take place on Wednesday morning at 9.30 in the Pieve basilica, but the notices will be published today by the Veronesi and Pederzoli agency (which will also communicate when and where the rosary will be recited in memory of the 44-year-old engineer). L
