Milan, ATM transport strike today 27 November reduced to 4 hours: opening hours at risk

The strike, confirmed from 6pm to 10pm, could cause disruption on the metro, buses, trams and Autoguidovie buses

“Following the order of the Ministry of Transport, the unions USB Lavoro Privato and CUB Trasporti have postponed the national strike to Friday 15 December. The strike proclaimed by the union AL COBAS is confirmed for Monday 27 November”. This is the statement released by Atm Milano on its website to confirm the possible inconveniences expected today, from 6pm to 10pm. The strike could have consequences on public transport and subway lines. The Como-Brunate funicular will however be in normal service. The staff of the Trenord train company, however, are not taking part in the strike and therefore there should be no inconvenience.

The bus service is at risk

The protest will also involve the staff of the Autoguidovie bus company. The trips on lines 201, 220, 222, 230, 328, 423, 431, 433 will be guaranteed until 6 pm. As always, any inconvenience for passengers will depend on the effective compliance of the staff.

“No interruptions to railway traffic are expected in Lombardy” assures the company, however reporting that “any cancellations will be promptly communicated”.
