The restyling work on Lungomare Bettolo in Recco is proceeding quickly and tomorrow a new construction area will open. This is an activity that allows us to advance towards the final phase of the first part of the redevelopment project of the seaside promenade, which involves the pedestrianization of the area, the creation of modern paving, the installation of new street furniture and a new arrangement of trees and flowerbeds.

“Tomorrow the finishing operations of the new road that connects Lungomare Bettolo to the post office will begin. For this reason, it will be necessary to temporarily free up some car and motorbike parking stalls on this stretch to facilitate the movement of the construction site towards the west” explains the mayor Carlo Gandolfo, who verified the status of the works together with the managers of the competent municipal offices.

To allow the transfer of the construction site, tomorrow 21 November the parking ban with forced removal will be in force in Lungomare Bettolo – from 8 am to 8 pm – in all the stalls located between numbers 65 and 26 and in the parking areas for motorcycles on the mountain side and central area, adjacent to the pedestrian area. Furthermore, in the same area, a public lighting pole will be eliminated.

“This expansion of the construction site – concludes Mayor Gandolfo – marks an important stage in the redevelopment of Recco’s seaside promenade, to make the area more usable and pleasant. We are certain that citizens and visitors will appreciate the new seafront, which will soon be finished and returned to the community”.
