According to the journalistic source, it seems that due to the decline in demand in the Italian market, the Swiss-American multinational, listed on Wall Street and specialized in the production of terminals and connectors for industry, is evaluating the closure of the factories in Collegno (Turin ) and San Salvo (Chieti), with a total of 500 employees.
In response to this news, Fiom immediately requested an urgent meeting with Te Connectivity of San Salvo and Confindustria, in order to verify the veracity of this information.
Confirmation of this decision would have devastating consequences both for the workers involved and for the entire territory.
