The new edition of the 1500 Trx pick-up that Ram presented last weekend on the occasion of the eighteenth round of the MxGP Championship on the Maggiora circuit in the Novara area is called Lunar.
The exclusive model is characterized by the new exterior color in Ceramic Gray and is produced in a limited edition, to expand the range of light vehicles of the American brand, offering enthusiasts even more customization possibilities.
On the track, in Maggiora, Ram Europe unveiled the new arrival live, just as in April it presented the Ram 1500 TRX Havoc Edition to the European market during the Pietramurata (Tn) stage. In Piedmont, the brand’s event allowed participants to live an experience dedicated to the power of the 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V-8 engine, on dirt roads as well as on a track made muddy by heavy rain.
The Red Bull Ktm Factory Racing team manager, Tony Cairoli, also attended the event, underlining the importance of the partnership between Ram and the Austrian motorcycle manufacturer.
The new Ram 1500 Trx Lunar Edition represents an exclusive version of the iconic model which is a segment benchmark for power and performance, further enriched with even more customization possibilities and new trim options, including unique combinations of technology, graphics, performance and external appearance, available directly from the factory.
As for the exterior, the Trx Level 2 trim group has been expanded with the introduction of the exclusive Ceramic Gray color. This special edition also boasts a removable floor step, four adjustable load-securing hooks and a spray-applied floor liner.
The model is also characterized by dedicated contents such as the Trx Edition graphics on the bonnet and floor, 18″ black wheels with bead-lock anti-bead lock system, a double-glass panoramic sunroof and a LED brake light mounted on the cab.
The 2023 Ram 1500 Trx Lunar Edition, which will be available next spring, can count on the most powerful engine ever used on a pick-up, namely the 6.2-liter, 702 HP supercharged Hemi V-8 engine, already present in the Ram 1500 Trx Havoc Edition 2023. The RAM 1500 TRX Lunar Edition 2023 will be available this spring.
Also present in Maggiora, representing the Ram brand, were Domenico Gostoli, Head of Ram & Dodge Brands Enlarged Europe, and Robert Graczyk, Head of Ram International, who presented the Ram award to the winners of Saturday’s qualifications.
“Once again – declared Gostoli – this award underlines the values that bind Ram and Mxgp as brands, but also as a community of enthusiasts. These events represent very important meeting points and it is always a great pleasure to present this award.” “Being here today – commented Graczyk – is fantastic. The warmth of the crowd, the power of our Ram 1500 Trx in an exclusive special edition, the feeling of experiencing racing firsthand through the exciting Ram Qualifying Races. It’s marvelous”.
