Cos’è SKALD: Against the Black Priory?
SKALD: Against the Black Priory è un GDR dark fantasy which recalls the aesthetics and mechanics of CRPGs from the 80s. As a mercenary determined to redeem his family’s name, the player leads a company of adventurers across an isolated archipelago, exploring lands full of secrets, dangerous dungeons, and villages marked by dark cults and forbidden arts.
The atmosphere, strongly influenced by Lovecraftian imagery, combines with gameplay that alternates real-time exploration, punctuated by grid movements, and turn-based combat. Over the course of the adventure it is possible to recruit up to six members in the party, essential to survive increasingly challenging threats in a cruel and implacable world.
