On the occasion of the Italian Bike Festival in Misano (15-18 September 2023) Alé launched the collection dedicated to Sonny Colbrelli.
In his ten years as a professional cyclist Sonny was European Champion, Italian Champion and won the toughest of the Northern Classics: Paris-Roubaix. It is precisely his splendid career that inspires her Capsule Collection designed by Alé.
Designed on garments from the Alé PR-R line, dedicated to professional cycling, the Sonny Colbrelli collection offers an outfit short sleeve shirt and dungarees.
The shirt, suitable for temperatures from 18° to 32° C, has elegant graphics, played in shades of gray and black. The famous cobra logo, Colbrelli’s nickname, stands out on the right. On the back, a long stripe that starts from the neck and ends at the bottom of the shirt shows the aforementioned victories of the great champion. Designed with body-mapping technology, the shirt is made of 4 different fabrics strategically positioned to achieve the right balance between comfort and performance.
The front panel in Microperforated Light dries very quickly, is breathable and its micro-hole structure allows for excellent ventilation.
The back is in Geo Light fabric, very light, elastic and fresh; the sides are made of feather mesh to facilitate the elimination of sweat. Finally, the raw-cut sleeves, in Aero mini rib fabric, have a channel structure that allows air to flow, eliminating drag and promoting aerodynamics. The attention to road safety could not be missing, ensured by reflective details.
The bib trousers are a multi-panel summer garment, with fabrics chosen to offer adequate muscle support. The central part of the crotch is made of Matrix fabric, a certified Lycra with high density and multidirectional elasticity, with a calendered surface that promotes adherence to the saddle. The “Leg Comfort System” technology on the rear bottom allows you to adapt to different muscle conformations while pedaling.
The raw-cut “S-Stability System” shaped insert with light silicone dots ensures crease-free stability and further promotes aerodynamics. The microfibre straps give a pleasant feel and maximum adherence to the body with a good return, while the elastic mesh back/lumbar part promotes breathability and quick drying. 4HF pad: applied with Tri-Stitch stitching which improves elasticity and reduces tears due to wear, gives calibrated support to the most stressed areas.
