Bad start to the week for Lautaro Martinez, despite the derby won in resounding fashion against Milan. Il Toro, in fact, suffered a theft in his “Coraje” restaurant in the center of Milan. The loot, however, was paltry for the thieves, amounting to around 1,000 euros, but the disdain for having suffered an infringement on his property remains. The restaurant is in fact owned by the 26-year-old Argentine striker and his wife Agustina Gandolfo. The theft most likely occurred in the late evening or night of Sunday 17 September with the premises’ employees noticing the burglars’ break-in this morning given the forced secondary door. The Milan police are investigating to try to find those responsible for this robbery with the help of surveillance cameras and according to initial reconstructions it seems that four hooded men broke into the “Coraje” restaurant, located in the rich and renowned neighborhood of Brera.
Head to the field
For Lautaro Martinez, however, it is already time to think about the pitch given that on Wednesday evening theInter will be on stage in San Sebastian on the Real Sociedad pitch for his debut in this 2023-2024 Champions League. The Nerazzurri came close to winning the big-eared cup but aim to reconfirm themselves this season in a group which, in addition to the Spanish, will see them face fearsome teams such as Benfica and Salzburg. There will be no breathing space for the Nerazzurri captain given that he will play from the first minute with at his side most likely not Marcus Thuram, star of the derby against Milan, but Marko Arnautovic who wants to show off and score the first ever goal with the Inter shirt.
Simone Inzaghi will opt for a moderate turnover with Benjamin Pavard ready for his debut on the pitch in defense with Acerbi-De Vrij and Bastoni in defense with Sommer always starting in goal. In the middle of the pitch Frattesi will have his chance from the first minute with Calhanoglu and one between Barella and Calhanoglu with the Armenian favored over the Italian who could thus take a breather. On the outside there is a Dumfries-Cuadrado runoff with the first favorite while on the left the Brazilian Carlos Augusto could start from the start who against Milan did not make the slightest difference with the starter Federico Dimarco.
This news, certainly unpleasant, will certainly not cause the Nerazzurri captain to lose concentration, having become the true leader of Simone Inzaghi’s team based on what he has shown in the last three years in which he has grown exponentially, becoming one of the best in his role and with still large margins for improvement from the implementation point of view. The challenge against Real Sociedad will test the ambitions of Inter who, as European vice-champions, want to once again make their voice heard and confirm themselves as one of the strongest teams around
