Young promises on the rise and senior athletes confirmed at the highest levels. With these two elements the various teams of the 4 Vele beach volleyball Academy of Pescara return from the away match of the Italian championship. We start from the fourth place in the overall men’s tournament won by the Latvian naturalized Italian Davis Krumins and by Manuel Alfieri from Pescara. The latter, after the injury suffered in the Montesilvano stage, was forced to change racing partners after a lightning-fast start to the season with Davide Dal Molin with whom they had immediately won the Italian club championship in Bibione and the Albissola stage , in Liguria. Despite the stop, the season still turned out to be positive with his new teammate Krumins, with whom he also achieved a 5th place in the Beach Pro Tour “Future” in Brno in the Czech Republic. «When you play at such a high level – explains the coach of the couple, Luigi Alfieri – it is normal that a more refined understanding brings greater fruits. There was an important escalation, born almost by chance, but it led to great personal growth for the two athletes and this also makes us optimistic in view of next season. We are aware that we have sown well, expanding our staff and the number of kids who follow our courses”, concludes the coach of 4 Vele BVA, Luigi Alfieri. What comforts the coach are in fact the results achieved by the athletes in the women’s sector. In the women’s Under 16 Altea Cavicchia and Sofia De Marinis won silver, losing in the final against Cucchi and Mioso. The two girls, followed by Franco Bertoli, have shown an important growth path. Going further down, it is also worth mentioning the fourth place of Gioia Lezzi and Marzia Cerasoli who stopped at the foot of the podium in the Under 14. «I thank the masters, starters and legends that I have trained, sharing the passion for the game – he said the legendary “hand of stone” Bertoli -.
