There Civil Guard Spanish has arrested three young footballers from the youth teams Real Madrid to Mogánon the island of Gran Canaria, due to their alleged involvement in the spread of a video of sexual content involving a minor of approximately 16 years of age. The girl’s mother reported the incident on September 6, stating that the three players would have shared the clip within the team’s chat group on Whatsapp, triggering a chain of sharing. It is possible that other players, including those from the first team, are involved in the distribution of the sexual material.
“Real Madrid announces that it has become aware of the fact that a player from Castilla (the club’s second team, ed.) and three players from Real Madrid C have made statements to the Guardia Civil in relation to a complaint for the alleged dissemination of a private video on Whatsapp. Once the club has detailed knowledge of the facts, it will take appropriate measures,” the club said in an official statement.
