Helmet Cannondale Dynam is the latest novelty of the US house.
It was presented together with the new Cannondale SuperSix EVO and this already suggests what type of cyclist it is designed for.
In fact, we are talking about a helmet designed for road racingairy and comfortable.
But observing the attention preserved by Cannondale on the protection factor and also the not exactly minimal structure, it also lends itself well to a I use Mtb, specifically for cross country and marathons. Not surprisingly, the Cannondale Factory Racing Team is also using it, in competition and in training.

TECHNICAL DETAILS
The Cannondale Dynam helmet has a In-Mold structure polycarbonate, with EPS shell and supports PolyRail. Characteristic is the color of the inner material, which gives the helmet a special look.

For better heat dispersion, technology is used IntelliVentwhich allows for maximum airflow without compromising protection.

Speaking of protection, the Cannondale Dynam helmet integrates the system “MIPS Air Node Protection”i.e. the lightest and most advanced MIPS version on the market.

The regulation system is called ErgoFit+ and allows you to fine-tune the fit via a classic rear rotary slider, with 360-degree micro-adjustability.
It is also possible to adjust the fit of the helmet vertically, by varying the position of the adjustment system in three steps.

The system was used to ensure maximum ergonomics for all types of riders BioMapFit: both the internal structure and the lining have been created to have maximum comfort, regardless of the size and shape of the head.

The dsize of the cap it varies according to the size used, the difference is visible to the naked eye.

To conclude, the closure is of type Fidlocka magnetic system that opens only when it is rotated in a specific way: very safe, but also easy to use and open with one hand.

The Cannondale Dynam helmet is available in three sizes (S, M and L) and in five colors.

In size M it weighs 316 real gramswhile the list price is €199.99.

THE SENSATIONS
I tried the Cannondale Dynam helmet for a few outings, both on the road and in Mtb.
I used it for the first time at the presentation of the new Cannondale SuperSix EVO and I immediately noticed a great convenience.

The initial setup was easy enough thanks to the possibility to customize the position of the strings under the ears in a micrometric way. Furthermore, by squeezing the rear wheel you have a comfortable but firm fit.
I used a size M (55-59cm), which is perfect for my head of about 58cm.

Very good there ventilationbut in this case a test with much higher temperatures should be done, which is impossible in this period…

Overall, therefore, the feeling with the helmet was immediateo, but there is something that I liked less, namely the weight and the external dimensions of the shell.
Weight: 316 grams are not few for a racing helmet. When compared to the top-of-the-range models of the competition, there is even a 100 gram difference. A detail that could be improved, in my opinion…

Cap: it is quite bulky. It is good for cyclists with a large build, but if you are thin and with small shoulders (like me) it is not aesthetically the best. In this case personal taste also takes over, but it is a detail to mention.
